MY STORY
by Carmenjulia
My Biggest Business Mistake
Reading emails by cents. Too much work, no significant earns
I just keep those affiliate programs where I was able to build an important downline. I felt I was really missing the boat
Now I am doing marketing.
I have learnt that you need to train and have your own site and suitable marketing tools. This is the start of your REAL internet presence.

Hi Roger,
I just finished reading your post on AdlandPro.
I would like to be listed on your site, here's my link:

My Story is:
My business mistake?Â
Not responding fast enough to customer demand & not following up on customer demand.
What happened?
I did not receive the customers business, lost it to a competitor, cost potentially thousands of dollars in income over the life of my business, and quite possibly a lost friendship, because we seem to become friends with most of our clients, after the business talk is over.
What did I learn?
My potential customers, friends, and others are not on MY time schedule. I need to respect others demands for service. Call back ASAP, Follow-Up ASAP.
Thank you Roger for this opportunity,
Sincerely,
Jim White

Hi Roger,
Please notice I said "one" I have made many in the last 10 years but this is the latest one.
I needed to have some leads to advertise one of my programs.
Since one of my last places to order leads is still working on February and March orders, I didn't want to order any more from them.
I started searching on Google for leads and found this one webpage that looked good and the prices were good too. Ok, I ordered one of they're packages of double opt-in and went to the pay page and completed my transaction, all well so far.
Then a page comes up from the website that gives directions about getting my leads. First thing on the instructions says to not contact them for at least 6 weeks. The leads may come before that but they wouldn't answer any requests about when are they are coming until after 6 weeks.
That is not too far off a request since most leads have to be ordered and sometimes takes a full 6 weeks to show up.
I got the e-mail from PayPal that my charge had been processed and that was ok. I checked in to my Bank and it showed the draft from PayPal had been processed. So now I knew my order had gone through and all I had to do was wait and my leads would be sent.
After waiting several days of watching for an e-mail from the website I ordered from, none came. I thought at least they could send a thank you for ordering.
None came and after about 5 weeks I sent an e-mail and it bounced.
Then I went searching for the webpage that I placed the order from, I had been there a few days before but it was gone.
I started sending e-mails to the web-site address but they kept bouncing.
Then after 7 weeks I tried to find the website, you guessed it, it was gone.
Next trip was to go to PayPal and file a complaint. I did that and waited for they're reply. Finally it came and they said they had a rule that they would only act on complaints up to 6 weeks and then was considered completed and they could do nothing.
They sent me the link that said that. I went and checked, for sure that is true. After 6 weeks you could do nothing.
While in PayPal I noticed I could then charge the web-site with un-authorized use of my information. That seemed to stir the pot even more and they said they would investigate.
The web-site sent me a scathing letter saying I had made illegal charges on them and PayPal had locked the account while they investigated.
PayPal completed the investigation and said the dealer had the right to use my information to make the charge.
I went looking for the web-site and lo and behold, there it was, up and charging.
I wrote back and asked what they were going to do about my leads and got an answer, they were not going to re place my order until they could process another charge.
I wrote back and said I don't want another order, you have already processed my order and got paid 2 Months ago.
I suggested they just send a full refund, since I never received any product.
No answer.
I assume the web-master set-up that web-site led by the 6 week rule.
What would you think?
What I learned is not to order from strange web-sites. Only order from personally recommended sites from now on.
There is nothing you can do about a dealer that puts you off for 6 weeks when you pay by PayPal.
I have no proof of not receiving the leads so I can't go any further, the dealer says they were sent. He fulfilled his duty.
Norm !
